My story
My name is Megan Jones! I live and work in Denver, Colorado, near the foothills where I grew up. I've always had a passion for art, which led me to attend the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design where I studied illustration and attained my BFA. Later I decided to combine my love of art with my love of teaching, and I began a post-Bac teaching licensure program at Metro State University to obtain my K-12 art education license. Since then, I have been working as a middle school art teacher (and making personal and commission artwork in my downtime!).
Some other things about me

I love animals! I have a dog and two cats, and on weekends I volunteer at a farm sanctuary (the cow in my photo is my friend, Stevie)

I have a hard time choosing a favorite art medium – I honestly love doing a lot of different things. However, printmaking is probably my favorite medium to teach students

In my free time I play Dungeons & Dragons with friends
